SENIOR ACTIVITIES WORKSHOPS:
Assisted Living/Lesser Functioning
Activities
Lizzie Love's clowning therapy* sessions include singing, storytelling,
chair-dancing/dancing, moving creatively, expressive pantomime, reading and
composing group poems, comedy magic, fun gags, balloons and lots of laughs.
Participants articulate feelings, desires, needs and aspirations in a
noncompetitive, cooperative setting that promotes togetherness. These techniques
are frequently beneficial for adults with memory and behavior disorders.
Sessions are 60 minutes.
* These sessions may also be performed without clown attire and be described as
poetry therapy sessions.

Independent Living
Activities
Conversations With Liz
Stimulating, thought-provoking discussions designed
to encourage participants to share their thoughts, ideas and suggestions. Topics
include senior issues, national and world affairs, local events,
self-help/motivational therapy, travel, art famous quotes and poems. Sessions
are 60 minutes.
Creative Writing Workshops
These hour-long, hands-on sessions teach
self-expression for personal growth,
creative development and life fulfillment. They are packed with provocative
questions to write about, poetry to stimulate expression, discussion and
frequent laughter. Because Liz Reynolds has been teaching creative writing to
seniors for the past six years, she has many stories to share and many
techniques for sparking the imagination and the memory bank.
